As you can tell, we are late again. Something of a reoccurring theme you might say. Maybe we should just move the release date to Tuesday?
We were in the middle; well somewhere near the beginning actually, of recording this weeks show when the recording failed and we lost 15 mins worth of top quality material. We decided that it was a sign from God, and, combined with the fact they we were already late and couldn’t be arsed, decided to can it for this week.
So, next week, the Lunchcast will return to complete Matthew.
This week we need to be reading up to the end of the Gospel and we will endeavour to cover all of Chapters 21 – 28 in the next bumper edition.
Until then.

A week later than scheduled we make it as far as Matthew 16-20. Was it worth the wait? Listen now, you decide.

After much grovelling for last weeks mockery we are assured that Rich and Rach are back in marital bliss and we move on with the Gospel of Matthew.
This weeks show
Matthew 16
Clearly the Pharisees and Sadducees have been on a different planet for the past few chapters as despite Jesus pumping out miracles for fun, they demand ‘A Sign’.
Matthew 17
Jesus gets together with Moses and Elijah for a bit of a chat. What was the Transfiguration all about?
Matthew 18
It’s story time with Jesus. One guy loses a sheep while another is an ungrateful soul. Some harsh lessons to be learnt about life in the Kingdom.
Matthew 19
Jesus tackles the slippery customer that is ‘divorce’. Who can? Who can’t? Something tells me those asking the questions somewhat missed the point.
Matthew 20
Another great tale from Jesus, this time about some workers in a vineyard who were just not quite satisfied with what they had. Jesus, also, very accurately, predicts the circumstances of his death. Surely now it wont take the deciples by surprise!
